Grades can be assigned in letters

Grades can be assigned in letters of whatever a teacher wants to give you.as a range (for example 1 to 6), as a percentage of a total number correct, as a number out of a possible total (for example out of 20 or 100), or this GPA determines weather you go to college or not. Hoskin's assertion has been questioned by Christopher Stray, who finds the evidence for Farish as the inventor of the numerical mark to be unpersuasive. On the final International Baccalaureate Diploma given to graduating IBDP students, the points awarded for each area are listed individually, as in the MYP certificate. The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) was piloted in 1996 in thirty primary schools on different continents, and the first PYP school was authorized in 1997, with as many as 87 authorized schools in 43 countries within five years.  It intends to give students a broader understanding of the interactions between their different school subjects as well as creating greater open-mindedness among students. It is based on a system of ways of knowing (WOK) and areas of knowledge (AOK), each of which is discussed in detail.
